Repair Tools

Pro Feature: Repair Tools

1. Open the `Repair Tools` tab.
2. Select or inspect a flagged file.
3. Run the official compare workflow if the file belongs to supported WordPress core, plugin, or theme sources.
4. Review whether the file matches the official version.
5. Restore the official file if appropriate.
This is especially helpful when you want to repair modified official files without replacing the entire site manually.
If a site is actively compromised, this is a practical order of operations:
1. Run a full malware scan.
2. Review high-risk findings first.
3. Quarantine clearly malicious files.
4. Scan the database for injected content.
5. Review plugins, themes, and uploads for suspicious files.
6. Restore or replace infected core files.
7. Use Pro repair tools for supported files if available.
8. Change WordPress admin passwords and hosting credentials if compromise is confirmed.
9. Update WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
10. Enable scheduled scans and alerts.
11. If using Pro, build a fresh integrity baseline after cleanup.
