Use WordPress Core Restore
If core files may have been modified or infected, the plugin includes a WordPress core restore helper.
1. Open the `Scanner` tab.
2. Locate the `WordPress Core Restore` card.
3. Review the installed version and target version.
4. Click the restore or reinstall button.
5. Confirm the action.
6. Wait for WordPress to replace core files using the native upgrader.
Important Note
This helps refresh WordPress core files, but it does not clean custom plugin or theme infections automatically.
